HOW TO CHOOSE ETHERNET CABLES / ETHERNET PATCH CORDS
All cables are fully assembled, tested and ready to use in any 10Base-T, 100Base-TX or 1000Base-TX (Gigabit Ethernet) network. They all have superior molded anti-snag strain reliefs. Ethernet Cable Application Review: The table below defines the speed / frequency and the pairs for
the following Ethernet applications: 10BaseT, 100BaseT4, 100BaseTX, 100BaseT2, and 1000BaseT

Increasing category levels are backward compatible.Category 6 (ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1) was ratified by the TIA/EIA in June 2002. CAT-6 provides higher performance than CAT-5e and features more stringent
specifications for crosstalk and system noise. All CAT-6 components are backward compatible with CAT5e, CAT5, and Category 3. If different category components are used
with higher category components, then the channel will be limited to the performance of the lower category.
Category 6 Patch cords / Cat 6 Patch cables
Our precision designed Ethernet Cat6 patch cords and patch cables provide the high speed you require for your installation. They minimize near-end crosstalk and are backward
compatible with slower protocols. Each patch cord is created with a slender, snagless boot to provide easy access in high-density installations. These patch cords are perfect for
Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and other speed-critical applications. All Ethernet patch cables are individually tested for peak performance and are available in various lengths and colors. Our Category 6 cables are manufactured to the strictest performance requirements as specified in
TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1 using the highest level connector design and cable construction.
Cat7 Ethernet Patch Cables, Cat 7 Ethernet Patch Cords
What is the difference between CAT-5, CAT-5e, CAT-6, CAT-7 Ethernet Cables The Simple Answer:
CAT-5 is rated to 100M CAT-5e is rated to 350M CAT-6 Ethernet cables and CAT6e are rated to 550M or 1000M depending on your source CAT-7 Ethernet cables are supposedly rated to 700M
or presumably 1000M
